More information

Campaign Against the Arms Trade are spearheading the UK campaign to Stop Arming Saudi. On 30 June 2016 they were granted permission by the High Court to take legal action against the UK government for breaching International law through its continued licensing of arms to Saudi Arabia despite clear evidence that Saudi Arabia has used them to commit widespread human rights violations in its bombing campaign against Yemen. The High Court hearing will take place before February 2017. Click the image below to read their Oct-Dec 2016 edition of CAAT News.

Page 8 is entitled 'Action to Stop Arming Saudi Arabia', giving information on how you can get involved. It also gives information about an upcoming film of Andrew Feinstein's book, entitled 'The Shadow World: Inside the Global Arms Trade' which will be on tour in the UK in early 2017, and will especially promote the Stop Arming Saudi campaign. You can email outreach@caat.org.uk if you are interested in arranging a screening in your local area.
